Hong Kong Academy

As a through-train IB school founded upon strong family values and small class sizes, HKA was the natural choice for us. The learning program is transparent and has allowed us as parents to be a part of their learning journey. Right from Playgroup, the classrooms and activities are thoughtfully structured in ways which capture the imagination of the children and build their self-confidence. All this is done within a program that includes a class teacher, co-teacher, many specialist teachers and a Mandarin co-teacher in each classroom. From a young age, our daughters are given the tools and strategies to solve their own problems, being self equipped means that they can use the strategies that they have learnt to help themselves and others. Small class sizes at HKA allow the teachers to really get to know each of our daughters as individuals as well as understanding our perspective as parents. Finally, we feel lucky to belong to a school that has developed a strong community spirit and is authentic about the IB experience.
