HK Youth Coding Competition 2018 - Programming for Kids

Techbob Academy presents the "HK Youth Coding Competition 2018" is on 26 Aug! Do your children love coding & technology? This game coding competition is a perfect opportunity for your little geniuses to show their coding skills & imagination! Children can design and create their own games by Scratch or App Inventor 2 to showcase the creativity and win the prizes!

Don't worry if your child does not have much coding experience or background. Techbob summer camps are here to prepare your child with coding, logical and design thinking skills! Once students finish the summer courses, they will be ready to take part in the competition. HK Youth Coding Competition 2018

Enrollment Date: Now until 31/7/2018 23:59
Final Date: 26 August 2018 (Sunday)
Fee:

• HK$100 for each individual participant
• Free of charge & automatic enrollment for inter-school

Target Participants & Groups:

• 1st group: All students aged 6-7 (born in 27/8/2010 - 26/8/2012)
• 2nd group: All students aged 8-9 (born in 27/8/2008 - 26/8/2010)
• 3rd group: All students aged 10-11 (born in 27/8/2006 - 26/8/2008)
• 4th group: All students aged 12-13 (born in 27/8/2004 - 26/8/2006)

Competition Format: All participants submit works before 18/8/2018 23:59. Judges will select and notify finalists by 23/8/2018. Finalists will present their works in the final on 26/8/2018, and their presentation will be included into judging consideration.

Awards:

• Individual Champion: 4 lessons of Techbob Academy (HK$1,120)
• Individual competitions 1st & 2nd Runner-up: Thinkfun Code Master (HK$200)
• Each Champion, 1st Runner-up & 2nd Runner-up will be awarded trophies
• All participants get certificates
