“BOOKS for LOVE @ $10” (April 25-28)

Swire Properties’ popular “BOOKS for LOVE @ $10” charity book sale is officially kick off today, 25 April. This four days event will have 200,000-plus books on offer, all at HK$10 each. There will also be installation art, busking, a parenting talk, storytelling, and many more different activities not to be missed!

With a record 200,000-plus books collected covering various categories, the charity book sale will transform Taikoo Place into a vast book repository. All funds will go to BGCA and AVS – specifically to assist BGCA’s “Treasure Trove” child development project, and AVS’s efforts to develop volunteerism in Hong Kong.

Besides hunting for great reads, a host of interactive programmes will also be available for children, including storytelling sessions in English and Cantonese (Saturday & Sunday) and a talk for parents hosted by child development expert Dr Agnes Chan (Saturday). Welcome all parents and kids to join!

Specially designed for children aged three to twelve, this interactive programme will be available in English and Cantonese, and is the perfect opportunity for parents and their kids to spend some quality time together. Limited on-site registration will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
