Hong Kong Suzuki Music Institute

At the HK Suzuki Music Institute we bring families together through music! We offer a 3-STEP Family Music Program with beginners from age 0 to 7, so there is a class for all members of your family! At HKSMI, children learn in a nurturing, non-competitive, and social musical environment along with their teachers, their friends, and their parents! The Suzuki curriculum is internationally recognized with over 400,000 students worldwide! 

More detailed class descriptions:

STEP 1 Infant-Toddler Music Class (0-35m)

 - Weekly 55 minute class with over 24 activities with live violin or cello music, singing together, and small percussion instruments.

STEP 2 Pre-Instrument Class (age 3)

   - Weekly 55-minute class for parents and three year olds to prepare them to be successful at violin or cello lessons at 4 years old. We learn rhythm, bowing, and fingers with a practice violin or cello. 

STEP 3 Suzuki Cello/Violin/Piano Program (beginners ages 4-7)

   - Twice weekly lessons, a private lesson with your teacher and parent to learn the instrument and a group class to learn teamwork and ensemble skills.
