Fabric Art

Work with fabric and fibre helps children to be curious about how the everyday fabrics are structured. It develops greater sensitivity to color and tone, texture, line and shape. Children are exposed to a media which motivates them to learn a life skill
In this workshop students will experience painting on fabric and will be encouraged to use different fabric textures, as they design and craft a sweet little owl plushie for themselves.

In our creative art classes, the students are exposed to a medium that motivates them to learn new and useful life skills and various aspects of design. Mastering the art of fabric develops and improves their fine-motor skills, and the creation of everyday objects helps them to feel a broad sense of accomplishment.
