The Woodland Montessori Academy

We attended a tour of the campus. Ellie O’Ready (the Head of School) was very approachable and gave us a very comprehensive overview as well as answering any questions we had about the programme and the various options (a choice between English only or bilingual). The school has two campuses, split by Caine Road and we got to see both campuses. The facilities are very impressive and include a range of play areas (including indoor and outdoor) as well as a dedicated sensory room. Having seen some of the classes in action, it is encouraging to see that the teachers are very engaged and the children enjoy themselves in the environment. In summary: Overall, it was a really positive experience and Ellie personally followed up with us after the school tour. It is a good preschool but I am hesitant to say this is a truly Montessori school given what I understand about Montessori and after seeing and attending other Montessori schools around Hong Kong.
