FunZone (Ma On Shan)

Previously I've met a friend with 2 boys saying FunZone is a highly recommended place to go to with kids aged over 2, for they can run around themselves and play at the complex playground. As we saw they were partnering one of the group buy website with a pretty good deal, I've bought a few tickets planning to go with my baby's cousin who is 2.5yo. FunZone has an area particularly for kids aged under 3 which is the area shown in my photo (apart from the ball pit). Basically in there are a lot of toys with some climbing cushions. I appreciate the thought for the toddlers but I've passed by during the weekend and saw older kids in the area, which I think the staff should manage the place slightly better. On the day we were there as it was a weekday, not much people were there anyway so we didn't have such a problem. However, the toys are pretty rich broken and old. For those needing batteries to make sounds are mute; and those require pressing are somewhat paralyzed. I could see the staff tried to fix the toys with tapes, and again, I really do appreciate that. I hope they could follow up better with the batteries though. For the complex playground, it's really complex with 2 slides, a ball pit, a trampoline and an air generated ball shooting thing in the middle (and of course there are more). I see why my friend recommended the place. My baby's cousin had so much fun. The long slide was a pretty fast one. Overall, I see the facilities getting a bit old and Hong Kong needs such places for kids to play at. I hope the place could pay more attention to the cleaning and renewing the cushions.
