Mulberry House Mandarin Immersion Education (Central)

Mulberry House offers a nurturing and vibrant environment for early childhood Mandarin Immersion Education that is tailored for children between 0-8 years old. Our programmes seamlessly integrate developmentally appropriate activities and structured play with active learning and Chinese culture appreciation; enabling children to think, speak, read and write fluently in Mandarin naturally.

Our programmes:

Playgroup (0-2.5yrs) | 60 min classes 

Infant (8-16 months) | Babbler (16- 24 months) | Toddler (2-2.5yrs)

Children learn through activities that focus on language, cognition, motor and social skills. We familiarize them with Mandarin tones and vocabulary, helping them to gradually start thinking and speaking in Mandarin naturally. With lots of fun and engaging activities such as stories, sensory stimulations, music and rhymes, learning will be a delightful experience for your little one! 

Transition & Preschool (2.5 – 6yrs) | 90 min classes

Transition (2.5-3yrs) | Curious Learners (3-4.5yrs) | Confident Speakers (4.5- 6 yrs)

Children learn through activities that will build a strong foundation in listening, thinking and speaking fluently with the right Mandarin context. Our focus is also to strengthening the fine motor skills and concentration, as well as cultivating their interest in reading and writing in Chinese.  We engage children through structured play such as dramatic story-telling, role play, arts and crafts, science experiments, interactive & intellectual activities and reading & writing through stories and games.

Primary Support (6-8yrs) | 90 min classes

We will work individually with your child. Our focus is to help your child attain, fluency in speaking and their reading and writing, while increasing their academic vocabulary to support their studies in primary schools. Using many interactive and engaging teaching aids, your child will get to practice their core language skills and become confident expressing themselves in oral and written form.

STEAM Enrichment (2.5-8yrs) | 60 min classes

Arts & Science (2.5-6yrs) | Speech & Drama (3-8 yrs) | Math & Logic (4.5-8yrs) | Painting & Calligraphy (4.5-8yrs)

We believe that the earlier we expose them to STEAM the better, as we give them a platform to explore and investigate the world around them.  We have designed an interactive curriculum for children to learn about the world through a variety of lenses and that's why we strongly embrace STEAM.  When children are doing STEAM based activities, they get so engrossed that they naturally learn Mandarin, as well as the specific topic they’re investigating.

The ethos of the Mulberry House Immersion Education is to add build a strong foundation of Chinese in the early years learning using Mandarin as the sole medium of communication.
