Yew Chung International School

Yew Chung International School (YCIS) offers learning programmes from pre-school and kindergarten through primary and secondary education. The YCIS educational programme is based on the British National Curriculum, and comprises both a formal and informal curriculum. The formal curriculum includes integrated Chinese language studies (Cantonese and Putonghua with Chinese Culture), mathematics, social studies, science, creative studies, art, music, instrumental music, information technology, physical education, personal and social education, intensive English programme and world classroom. The informal curriculum involves co-curricular activities including: Home-School Partnership and the Yew Chung Educational Farm. Emphasis is also placed on the overall character development of the students in tune with the changing international demands in technology, world citizenship and lifelong learning.
