By adopting a synthetic phonics programme, we aim to enable the children to master overall and systematic reading skills. The Mandarin teaching is carried out through storytelling and special teaching schemes. Our scaffolding teaching approach is based on the children’s experiences, interests and abilities, and is applied through teacher-child interaction and child-child interaction.
