A musical journey for the family
We joined HKSMI when my older daughter was 2 years old, in Step 1, 4 years ago. And when I say WE, I mean we. It is a program for the family. There is a high level of participation fromt the parents, monthly group concerts, larger concerts, you make friends in the Suzuki family and it all goes with the music that becomes a part of your life. My older daughter is now in Step 3 of the Violin Program. And she loves it. The teachers are so creative at motivating kids and understanding how each one learns individually. She enjoys class and is excited about the different things they do. I watch as my younger child listens to the music in the house and responds to it. She is now in Step 1 and we are revisiting how our journey began 4 years ago.

It is an expensive and time intensive program. But it is also extremely rewarding. To watch your child develop and form a connection with and through music is wonderful. If you're in it, it is a journey.
