Bebegarten Education Centre

Bebegarten provides many types of activities to encourage kids to challenge and be involved in, through play. My daughter was never a fan of slimy wet activities, even if it was painting with her hands, but the teachers made it fun and had new ways to approach it every week, she gradually became very messy (in a good way!). They would find weaknesses, but relate activities to her preferred plays that she would be encouraged to get out of her comfort zone little by little, but not pressured. Amazing how many times I was impressed with the teachers' creativity. Topics the classes touch upon are very impressive too, it being volcanoes, problems of plastics, air, and all the cultural events as well. It all comes out naturally, when seated at a restaurant and my 3yo is served with a plastic straw, she would give it back to the server, telling them "we shouldn't be using plastic". Proud mom! Other points to note that I found very helpful and different from other playgroups/nurseries are: -Professional written assessment on the child from different angles, such as speech and communication skills, physical abilities, social skills, and future goals. -Constant feedback on the child's growth, and/or any issues that may arise during unaccompanied times (ie. toilet training, lying, hitting other children, nicking things). -Supporting the child with the understanding of family dynamics, and changes that the whole family is going through, which is amazing when they are still so small and sensitive. -Pictures and activities shared by an app to see the day-to-day activities. -Diverse offering of extra-curricular programs (music, art, sports, language, STEM, cooking, etc) Obviously, I am a very happy mother after almost 3 years of schooling at Bebegarten. When my daughter turned 1 yr old, I had no clue how to "kill" time with the active one, but I myself learnt through my daughter's eyes and the teachers how to engage, encourage, and have fun from Bebegarten. My limited vocabulary cannot describe how great this school is!
