Squad training, U(
My 8-year-old son has played football with the APSS organisation since he was 2 years old, and he loves it. The coaches care about the kids, as well as about football, and they provide lots of opportunities for fun and for learning more about the beautiful game. While, over the years, there have been some occasions where the kids have spent a little too much time standing around waiting for their turn at a particular training exercise (and therefore spent less time on the ball), overall the coaches do a wonderful job of engaging our young footballers. The variety of training exercises used is impressive and the knowledge of the coaches is all-encompassing, and their commitment is unwavering. The organisation goes the extra mile with its provision of make-up classes, free trials and bonus free sessions (even for kids who have already signed up). APSS also contributes to the wider community, getting involved with football for asylum seekers, running free coaching programs for schools and donating substantial prizes to charitable events such as school fair silent auctions. This is my son's second season in the (more serious) squad, and he loves it - especially the tournaments which take place every few weeks.
